Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone! I just
wanted to pop in really quick and let everyone know I have joined the Celebrating
SRDs Game Jam on Itch hosted by Beth and Angel Make Games. I have published the
SRD for MMUGS. It is PWYW, which basically means free, though donations are
highly appreciated.
The SRD, or System Reference Document, contains
all of the basic rules of MMUGS games, as well as permission for you to create
your very own commercial MMUGS games, with credit to Sarah Solo.
MMUGS is a highly customizable game system that
can be expanded to fit many different genres, themes, and settings. I’ve
published a few different MMUGS games myself: Mighty Marvelous (about
superheroes), MMUGS High Fantasy (for fantasy settings), Cozy MMUGS (for cozy
games), and Rift Town MMUGS Edition (where you play as the protector of a
creepy town and keep it safe from supernatural creatures).
I plan on making more MMUGS games in the
future. I have some ideas in mind for different settings and genres.
I hope you all find the SRD helpful in developing
and customizing your own MMUGS games.
